Cockroaches in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York – German Cockroach
Basic characteristics: German cockroaches in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York are light brown in color with two black stripes on the top of the head. They are nocturnal in nature and once in your home they will seek food and water, as well as harborage in the cracks and crevices of the kitchen and/or bathroom during the day. Once an infestation is well established and the population begins to grow roaches can be found throughout the building. Time of year they are active: German cockroaches are active year round. The damage they can do: German cockroaches in CT, MA, RI, and NY do no structural damage. Their fecal material can leave unsightly staining where they congregate. Cockroaches have also been found to be a contributing factor to allergies and asthma. Why are they in my home? German cockroaches are brought into your home from an outside source such as used furniture, appliances, computers, TVs and radios or by someone visiting or moving into the home from another residence where a roach infestation exists. Our treatment-and our promise to you: A cockroach problem can be very difficult to eradicate. Accordingly, our cockroach exterminators will require two visits to your home within a two-week time period. This comprehensive follow-up service will help assure elimination. If roaches are discovered after the follow-up service, we will re-treat, free of charge, throughout the warranty period. What happens after treatment?
